Since opening its doors in 2012, this Dataplace data center (part of Eurofiber Cloud Infra) has recorded an uptime of 100%. As our services are targeted mainly at businesses and organisations in the Randstad western conurbation and the central Netherlands, the data center has an easily accessible location on the Groenekan business park. Easily reachable from the A27 motorway, exit 31.
Configuration of this data center
The data center is fully configured for easy installation and maintenance of your IT infrastructure. A private car park on site offers sufficient free parking, enabling you to carry out maintenance on your servers whenever it suits you. A loading bay is available which you can use free of charge to load and unload your equipment. The entire premises are barrier-free and without thresholds, allowing you to move your equipment and tools with ease. A dedicated working area is also provided, and there are meeting rooms which be booked quickly and easily online.

Security of data center Utrecht
Data center Utrecht is well equipped with security measures and meets the highest standards of security certification. In addition to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001 and ISO 50001 certification, the data center also has NEN 7510 and ISAE-3402 type 2 certification as well as data center design certification. The site is secured with fencing and an access gate. The access gate provides access to the site using an access badge or access code. There is also 24/7 CCTV camera surveillance. Inside the data center, a security corridor located between the reception area and the data floors grants access to one person at a time. In this security corridor the number of persons and the presence of any goods are checked, and authentication is performed by means of an access badge in combination with fingerprint recognition. The same procedure, requiring an access badge in combination with fingerprint recognition, is used for accessing the data floors.
Fire prevention of our data center
All the data floors and technical areas are fitted with a redundant Very Early Smoke Detection Alarms (VESDA) system, which detects dust and soot particles. In the unlikely event of a fire, a gas extinguishing system will lower the oxygen concentration to a level that ensures the fire is quickly put out. The system uses Argonite: a mixture of Argon and nitrogen. This mixture of gases is stored under high pressure and is automatically released into the area in the event of fire. Unlike a water-based extinguishing system, this method of fire control does not damage your equipment.
